Our Purpose

To glorify God —
and display His grace in Eluru.

Established 01 June 2025

The purpose of New Covenant Church is to glorify God through worship, discipleship, fellowship, ministry, and evangelism — demonstrating the transforming power of God's grace to our community and the world.

The grace of God is His unearned favor and unconditional love toward us. It is not something we earn by our good works but a precious gift received through faith in Jesus Christ. God's grace not only saves us but also transforms our hearts, giving us the strength to live according to His will.

“For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.”

John 1:17 — our theme verse

What We Value

Anchors we keep returning to.

Not a creed so much as a posture. These are the habits of heart and practice that shape us as a church family.

Grace + Truth

Our heartbeat. Grace that welcomes the broken, truth that sets us free — together, the path of genuine transformation in Christ.

Word-Centred

Every gathering opens the Bible expectantly. We believe the Scriptures are inspired, sufficient, and the final authority for our faith and life.

Family, Not Audience

We are a body, not a crowd. Every member is known, needed, and called to love, serve, and bear one another's burdens.

Sent to Eluru

We exist to demonstrate the transforming power of God's grace to our community and the world — in word, deed, and the witness of our life together.

Statement of Faith

Five convictions we hold dear.

Our beliefs aren't novel — they are the historic confession of the Christian church, rooted in Scripture and summarised here in five simple statements. We're not interested in reinventing the faith; we want to live it.

We believe in the authority and inspiration of the Holy Bible. Scripture is our final authority for faith, life, and the governance of the church — sufficient, trustworthy, and alive.

2 Timothy 3:16–17

Our Leadership

Shepherds given to care for your soul.

Christ gives His church pastors, elders, and deacons — not as a hierarchy, but as servants. Meet the leaders God has raised up to shepherd New Covenant Church, Eluru.

Spiritual oversight, preaching, vision direction, and shepherding of the congregation.

I am Pastor Ch. Syam Sundar who has been saved and transformed by the amazing grace of God. My life is a testimony of God's mercy, faithfulness, and unfailing love. Everything I am and every opportunity I have to serve Him is by His grace alone.

With a passion to share the Gospel and lead people into a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ, I answered God's call to ministry in June 2025. By God's guidance and provision, I founded New Covenant Church with the vision of building a community rooted in God's grace, where lives are restored, hearts are transformed, and generations are empowered to follow Christ.

My mission is to proclaim the Gospel of Grace, strengthen believers in their faith, and serve the community with the love and compassion of Christ. I believe that God's grace not only saves lives but also restores, equips, and empowers people to fulfill His purpose.
